Commission Info.
If you are interested in having an original piece of art done, it's important to note that I do three types of commissions: Study, Composite, and Motif.
- Study: A study piece is generally one subject, simple to no back-ground, and depicts the subject realistically--either profile or posed.
- Composite: A composite piece is more complex than a study, focusing more on an artistic composition, and can look as real or as fantastical as you want.
- Motif: A motif is geared more towards company logos, badges, avatars, tattoos, decals, etc., and will not be heavily detailed so that it can be easily transferable from large to small sizes.
Once you have decided upon a commission type, the next step is to determine the size of the piece. Although the following list represents standard picture sizes, I am able to do any size that does not exceed 36"x 48"

$600 - $1000Keep in mind that the complexity and amount of detail--and also the amount of color--play a large part in determining the price of a commission. That being said, Study pieces tend to cost less than Composites. Matting is also available upon request for a small additional fee.
